I start preparing for my future knowing that we are not indispensable to our company. 10% of my income is set aside for the future me (retirement) so that I won’t depend on my kids when I get older.
Time is never on our side… Time only exists in the moment the “second hand” strikes at that moment in our lives… The past is never going to be there except in the history books that were written only by the “VICTORS”. The Future isn’t even there for us to see… Time will never wait for us and time will never come back for us… No one will ever find the time for anything and everything, that is why… its time… its time to make time…
I believe that cool, happy go lucky people like me can and should be responsible.
There are times that I am lazy in my job, don’t meet the target I’ve set, and I realize that It’s time to change my attitude and be always positive. It’s time to show hidden potential I’ve got and It’s time to face NOW the new chapter of my life!
Every one thinks i’m care-free. Happy go lucky. Too hip to bother about my future. Well, just to set the record straight, I believe that cool can and should be responsible.
I took out not one but 3 plans a couple of years back to make sure i have my retirement covered. Finished paying 2 of them, in fact. And now, I’m enrolled in salary deduction investment instruments. Read the rest of this entry »
