I am fond of making stuff on my own, be it a gift or just something to keep as my own. There is always the satisfaction of knowing that what you gave as a gift will always be unique, as their is no other thing like what you did in the world. People spend lots of money to buy gifts to their families and/or friends, but I find that putting more of yourself even in the smallest of things brings more happiness to you and the people around you.
It is the same with one’s future.
Putting something, even a small ‘personal’ thing for your future will do wonders. You may not see that thing at the moment, but in the long run, it will become bigger than you what you hope it could be.
I will put more effort into making sure I save. Temptations to spend will always be there but there are always more important things to think of, like my future.
