I used to procrastinate when it comes to saving. Looking back I was the type who’d spend first before setting aside some of my money for later use. Now that I’ve been working for a few years, I’ve come to realize that the future will not take care of itself. Whatever and wherever we will be in the near future will depend on how we are doing today. If we will delay saving today for tomorrow’s sake, it’s likely we will be so far from what we are hoping to be when that time finally comes. It’s better to plan for financial security now that you say you don’t need it yet, rather than not have it when you actually will have to need it.
