I was a young engineer of a Japanese Multinational Company here in Manila and chose to relocate in Iloilo to enjoy the opportunity of promotion as the youngest Depot Head.
The scope of the area of my work included : Iloilo, Roxas City, Antique, Bacolod, and Aklan. My work allowed me to meet lots of people but I had to go to these places by land and sea.
One day, a relative of my client in Roxas City discussed the risks of my travels and the impact it could have on me, my work, and my family. The ideas he shared were quite vague then but it became
clearer as incident upon incident came along in life for me to appreciate what he introduced me to do.
Im really thankful I was able to understand the principle of saving and protecting my income. I am into this for almost 20 years now.
Saving has been a decision I hold strongly since then. Its just great to have access to long-term savings should need arise. Im honest to say that I needed help then to learn things which I don’t know yet, & now willing to share the same. All these years, I use “time” and “money” work for me.
