I remember my wedding. Without my shares in Sun Life I don’t know if my dream wedding will come true.
It was 1992 when my dad died due to heart attack, that year a friend of my dad who is also hi agent advise us that my dad left a life insurance for me and we don’t need to worry about the payment because it was waive due to my dad’s death.
In year 2000 when Sun Life announces it’s demutualization, I become a share holder of the company.
In year 2008 when I decided to get married I remember what my dad’s agent told me ” In time when you need help, just remind regarding your insurance”.
To make the long story short, a portion of my share was sold to make my dream wedding come true.
Even if my dad was not physically around during my wedding, I can still feel his presence becuase of the legacy he left for me.
My fututre has been well planned by my dad. This insurance will go form my generation to the next becuase I know how important Life Insurance is. – ABgail Ballesteros-Belandres
